This section is a space for short stories that document some of the most memorable events and emotions that I have encountered during field research. Also, I am using these vignettes to practice new techniques in ethnographic writing--new to me, at least. While each of these are a little more polished than the raw writing in the journal sections of the site, they are not finished products...is any piece of writing ever finished?
